FAQ
Common questions, plain answers.
If your question isn't here, email us, we read every one and update this page when patterns emerge.
Getting started
Join the waitlist and we'll send you a sign-up link as soon as a spot opens. Sign-up takes about 5 minutes: verify your identity on our own screens (your Social Security number and date of birth, then a secure link we text to your phone), pick your plan, and pay.
Verification happens right on our screens, not a bureau's hosted page. Enter your Social Security number and date of birth, then we text a secure link to your mobile; tap it to confirm it's really you. Usually takes 30 to 60 seconds.
Nothing has been charged, verification happens before payment. You have two options right on the screen: try again (it most often fails because the bureau has an old mobile number or address on file, not because anything is wrong with you or your credit), or continue right away on our Upload plan ($15/mo): upload a 3-bureau credit report from any provider and our funding analysis works the same way, one analysis per journey per month.
About 60 seconds after identity verification completes. Your initial Equifax pull happens and the dashboard populates with your real score and tradelines. On Premium, a first-pass funding readiness analysis runs automatically.
Credit data
Continuous monitoring is on Equifax, where alerts are real-time. On-demand tri-bureau reports (Equifax + Experian + TransUnion side-by-side) refresh monthly on every plan.
Two separate things. Your tri-bureau reports (score, tradeline balances, new accounts, inquiries) refresh monthly on all three bureaus. Alerting is where Equifax stands out: the moment something material lands on your Equifax file, a new account, a balance jump, a fresh inquiry, or a derogatory mark, you get a real-time alert. So the full data picture updates monthly, and Equifax flags material changes the instant they happen.
Soft. Every pull we make is a soft inquiry, which does not affect your credit score. Hard inquiries happen only when you formally apply for credit at a lender, outside of our platform.
A tradeline is any line of credit on your bureau file, credit cards, auto loans, mortgages, student loans, store cards. Each one shows balance, limit, status, and 24 months of payment history color-coded by month.
Utilization is the portion of your revolving credit limits you're currently using. Below 30% is healthy; below 10% is optimal for score gain. Utilization is the second-biggest factor after on-time payment history, and it's the one that moves fastest.
We surface what to dispute and link you to Equifax's direct dispute channel. We don't intermediate the dispute itself, that's the FCRA-compliant path. Disputes are resolved by the bureau within 30 days under federal law.
A bureau file with fewer than three tradelines or less than 6 months of credit history. Lenders generally need a thicker file before they'll extend significant unsecured credit, the funding readiness analysis tells you which tradelines to add and in what order.
Funding readiness
We model your bureau profile against aggregated lender approval data: score, utilization, account age, primary revolving count, derogatory marks, and DTI estimate. The range reflects what most lenders open at for a profile like yours, in the next 60 days.
No. The range is indicative. Real offers depend on lender underwriting at the moment of application, which considers cash flow, business deposits, and lender relationships that aren't on your bureau file. We're an analysis, not an approval.
No. We are not a lender or broker. We don't place loans, take a cut from any lender you apply to, or refer you to lenders for compensation. We tell you what funding looks realistic; you apply at the lender directly.
The analysis is informational, not authoritative. If you have context the bureau file doesn't reflect, strong cash flow, lender relationships, recent revenue growth, your actual offers may exceed the range. The analysis is the starting point, not the ceiling.
Standard includes one funding analysis summary per month. Premium subscribers can re-run the full analysis any time their bureau profile changes, we recommend after every material score movement or new tradeline, and get the detailed report with every run. Your tri-bureau data refreshes monthly on every plan.
Identity & security
Only the last 4 digits, encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. Your full SSN is never persisted to our database, it's used at the moment of bureau enrollment and discarded.
Bureau data is permanently deleted within 30 days of your deletion request. Consent records are retained per FCRA dispute-defense requirements. No ad partners, no data brokers, no resale.
You. By default, no member of our team has access to your credit data. Support access requires your explicit, time-bound, per-interaction consent, and is auto-revoked after the interaction.
We operate under the Fair Credit Reporting Act as a regulated subscriber. This means we have permissible purpose for every pull, capture written consumer authorization, route disputes through Equifax, and use soft inquiries only. See /security for the full posture.
